In no particular order, shape or size… This is a day in the life of SuperStarPR™ founder Michael Deering.

Playing widespread roles in numerous markets, campaigns, broadcasts, and business initiatives through the last two decades, Michael and SuperStarPR™ epitomizes its self-determined adage that "Creativity Breeds Efficiency". Following valuable stints in both agency and corporate environments, Michael went solo in 2000 following a vision that became SuperStarPR™, a forward thinking full service PR group specializing in helping brands shine.

Busy from the get-go, his local Twin Cities PR shop immediately landed several signature accounts that included local regional divisions of Microsoft and Cargill's while also maintaining a steady stable of local small to mid-sized clientele interested in nurturing PR-driven branding.

Local success stories such as Magnetic Poetry, Crystal-Pierz Marine, Pawn America, Bell Mortgage, BHI, Clam Outdoors, Donnie Smith Cycles, Chu Vision Institute and even little ol' L-Bow Mittens have seen revenue growth, earned media value and brand development thanks in part to the strategies of Michael and SuperStarPR™.

Soon more global and national brands came calling; ABC, Ranger Boats, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, University of Minnesota, Ronald McDonald House, Dallas Boat Shows, and others became accustomed to noticeable marketing ROI as a result of smart and consistent earned media, co-branding, and cause campaign initiatives.

Away from the office, Michael's personal inspiration is served atop a John Deere tractor that is often shared by - or always makes its way back to - a loving wife and sons.

Kelly Plummer // SuperStarPR™ Media Relations Associate

Having started her career in television working both in front of the camera as a news anchor and reporter as well as behind the scenes as a producer, editor and promotions writer, Kelly Plummer understands what makes media influencers tick. Most recently, Kelly worked at KSTP television in St. Paul, Minnesota as a producer, choosing and writing all the stories for a weekday newscast.

For nearly a decade now, Kelly has worked with Michael and SuperStarPR™, putting her knowledge of the newsroom and story selection to work for local and national media relations campaigns. With an impressive cache of established relationships and new relationships built with producers, reporters, editors and influencers at other Twin Cities' television, radio and print outlets, Kelly has an inside scoop on who to pitch as well as the way the story should be presented to get the best coverage.

Kelly's experience spans the state and the nation. Over the past decade she has secured hundreds of television, print and radio spots including national coverage on CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and National Public Radio. Kelly has also worked on several medical/health companies including Chu Vision Institute, The Urgency Room and AgeWell to name a few.
